THE VISION
MTG illustrates the shift from the distorted image to the intended image for humanity that we were created to fulfil as a symbol of restoration and reconciliation of the gospel message.
Before “The Fall” in Genesis 3, the glory of God was home — not a foreign concept. However, deception from the adversary caused humanity to fall short of the glory of God, eternally separating us from home.
BUT — due to the unfailing love of the Father, we were given His son Jesus Christ and the Spirit of God, to be above the effects of sin and reconciled back to Him once again.
II Corinthians 3:18 states that as we behold the weight of Our Creator, we are restored back to that intended design. MTG’s is a fruit, simply born out of the desire to wear glory once again as a garment, reminding us of this truth to walk in the likeness of God.
ESSENCE OF KAVOD (כָּבוֹד)
The Hebrew origin of the word “Glory” is “kavod”/“kabod”, often translating to the weight of God. This is based on MTG’s foundational scriptures, Exodus 33:7-23 and II Corinthians 3:18.
Glory brings light into dark atmospheres. It dwells within sons to bring that radiance to those areas that need it. So, even more than our clothing being a statement of fashion it’s also a statement to the darkness worn by those that have bore witness to The Light.
